WECC Members

CPCA

CPCA LogoChina Printed Circuit Association (CPCA) is under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of People¡¯ Republic of China. It has 600 members who are PCB producers, CCL and special material suppliers, special equipment manufacturers, SMT and EMS manufacturers, research institutes and colleges as well as universities. Nine grade two division associations are under CPCA. Established in 1990, CPCA owns independent corporate position.

CPCA organizes the member companies to participate in CPCA and WECC standardization works; develops joint standards with WECC sister association such as IPC and JPCA; participates in tariff term and material consumption rate standardization; publishes newspapers, magazines and books; maintains CPCA website; holds annual CPCA Show in every March and annual Spring and Autumn Symposiums; conducts training and workshops; carries out industry survey and releases annual ¡°Top 100 Chinese Electronic Circuits Enterprises¡±.

EIPC

EIPC LogoThe European Institute of Printed Circuits (EIPC), based in The Netherlands, is an international service provider to the European Interconnection and Packaging Industry. Since 1968, the EIPC is servicing almost 130 member companies, including suppliers of machinery and materials to the PCB industry, PCB Manufacturers, contract electronics manufacturers and OEMs.

HKPCA

HKPCA LogoHong Kong Printed Circuit Association Limited (HKPCA), established in year 2000, is a Hong Kong based trade association dedicated to promote and protect the right and interests of its member companies in the printed circuit industry. As the number of PCB manufacturers in China continues to grow, HKPCA supports and organizes technical and business seminars, training, conferences and exhibitions in Hong Kong and China to help its members and other industry players to sustain their growth. Our mission and objectives are to promote and protect the rights and interests of the printed circuit industry, represent the industry and present its views to the Government and/or other parties, establish and manage funds for charity purposes, develop and strengthen internal and external communication, with a view to enhancing cooperation and business opportunities, by means of the following:

  • Organizing technical/business seminars and recreational functions
  • Gathering and distributing relevant information to members
  • Establishing links with overseas counterparts, such as CPCA, JPCA, TPCA, IPC, KPCA, IPCA and EIPC

IPC

IPC LogoSince 1957, IPC¡ªAssociation Connecting Electronics Industries? has been guiding the electronic interconnection industry through its dramatic changes. A global trade association dedicated to the competitive excellence and financial success of its more than 2,400 member companies, IPC is the only electronic interconnect organization that brings together all industry players, including designers, board manufacturers, assembly companies, suppliers, and original equipment manufacturers.
As a member-driven organization and leading source for industry standards, training, market research and public policy advocacy, IPC supports programs to meet the needs of a $40 billion U.S. industry that employs more than 350,000 people. The Association also provides its members with countless opportunities to network¡ªthe ultimate renewable resource and a cornerstone of IPC membership since day one¡ªthrough its international tradeshows, educational programs, technical conferences and online seminars.

IPCA

HKPCA LogoThe Indian Printed Circuit Association, established in the year 1985 is a voluntary, non-profit, service oriented, professional organization, formed with the sole objective of promoting the state-of-art PCB design, technology and manufacture in the country by mutual exchange of ideas and technical interaction arranged through seminars, conferences, educational programmes and international tradeshows. An electronic design wing of IPCA was added to it in the year 2001 with the formation of Electronic Designers Council of India (EDCI) as an affiliate member of the IPC Designers Council to join the global society of designers dedicated to further the electronic design requirements. Membership of IPCA is open to PCB designers, manufacturers, end users, manufacturers & suppliers of equipment, raw materials and their authorized representatives who devote their time, toil and talent to the progress of PCB technology in the country. IPC, USA and IPCA have agreed to establish a joint venture called the Industry Association Training Centre and since 2006, such a Training Centre has been established in order to conduct IPC Standards certification courses in India on various IPC specifications, to begin with for IPC 600 A and IPC 610 D for the technical personnel of the industry in India.
